Adding a device
The first step is to add the communication DTM to the project via 'Add device'.
Alternatively, adding can also be done via the 'Add device' icon on the communication DTM.
If the communication DTM is selected in the project tree, matching device DTMs appear in the device catalog, which can be added to the project with 'Add device' icon.
The context menu/three-point menu of a DTM contains the options 'Remove device', 'Replace device', 'Copy', 'Connect', 'Parameters', 'Other functions', 'Properties' and 'Print'.
Configuration / parameterization
The configuration respectively parameterization is done via the function 'Parameter' in the context menu of the communication DTM.
The configuration/parameterization of the device DTM is done in an analog way.
Here, too, it is started via the 'Parameter' function in the context menu of the device DTM.
Establishing a connection
The connection is established and terminated via the context menu/three-point menu of the device.
When establishing a connection, different states can occur, which are represented by the following symbols:
The device is online
The device is establishing a connection
The device is offline
